How We Evaluate a Cross-Sector Request

When a request falls outside our established supply areas, we assess it on the same basis we apply to any sourcing enquiry: the available technical information, the target quantity, the delivery destination and the general commercial feasibility of researching suitable Turkish manufacturers for that specific product. This is not a guarantee that every cross-sector request can be fulfilled — Türkiye's manufacturing base, while broad, does not cover every possible product category — but it means every request receives a genuine evaluation rather than an automatic decline based solely on the fact that it does not match a pre-listed category.

Working From Whatever Documentation Is Available

Cross-sector requests are often defined less formally than requests within our established categories — a description, a reference photograph, a sample, or a partial specification rather than a complete technical document. We work with whatever is available, and where the information is not sufficient to begin meaningful supplier research, we identify specifically what additional detail would be needed rather than leaving the request in an unclear state.

Custom Production and Private-Label Requests

Custom production, labelling, packaging and private-label requirements may be evaluated depending on the product, manufacturer capability and order quantity. This applies as much to cross-sector requests as it does to products within our standard supply areas — a private-label or custom-specification request for a product outside our usual categories is evaluated on its own merits rather than assumed to be out of scope by default.

Multi-Product Packages Spanning Several Categories

Some requirements combine items from our standard supply areas with items that fall outside them — a project that needs infrastructure materials, urban furniture and a specialised, less common product all coordinated together. We manage the standard and non-standard elements of such a request within the same coordinated process, rather than splitting the enquiry into a formal, supported part and an unsupported remainder.

Why We Keep This Category Open Rather Than Closed

A narrowly defined list of supply categories is easier to communicate but risks turning away buyers whose requirement is genuinely researchable simply because it does not match a pre-written category description. Since Türkiye's manufacturing base extends well beyond the specific product groups we highlight as our primary active areas, we would rather evaluate an unfamiliar request on its individual merits than decline it automatically based on category alone. This does not mean every request can be fulfilled, but it does mean every request is genuinely considered.

A cross-sector enquiry usually begins with limited information — a description of the need rather than a formal specification — and develops through a short back-and-forth as we identify what technical or commercial detail would be needed to begin meaningful supplier research. This is a normal part of the process for requests outside our established categories, and buyers should expect a more exploratory initial exchange than they would for a request that falls squarely within one of our standard supply areas.

Not every product request can be sourced through our network, and we would rather communicate this clearly and early than pursue an unproductive search. Where a cross-sector request is not feasible for us to support — due to limited manufacturer availability in Türkiye, minimum order quantities well beyond the buyer's requirement, or a product category outside any reasonable extension of our network — we say so directly, and where possible, suggest what alternative approach might be more realistic.
